RAON (Rare isotope Accelerator complex for ON-line experiments) is the biggest science research facility dedicated solely to basic science in Korea, operated by the IRIS (Institute for Rare Isotope Science) under IBS (Institute for Basic Science). From 2024, RAON has just begun to provide user service with the state-of-the-art combination of ISOL (Isotope Separation On-Line) system, a Superconducting LINAC and experimental systems. Visitors could see Korea’s flagship facility for emerging Rare Isotope Science and meet fellow researchers and scientists working here.
