The Gunsan Railroad was completed in 1944 in Gyeongam-dong, Gunsan-si, Jeollabuk-do. It is a 2.5 km-long railroad connecting the Paper Korea factory and Gunsan Station. The railway first opened in 1944 to transport newspaper materials during the Japanese Occupation period. People began to live together around the railroad and soon, a village was formed in the 1970s and is still here for us to visit. A very famous Korean movie, “Man in Love” was filmed in this place. The main character couple walks around this very railroad while eating ice cream. There is also a beautiful ocean around, and we will also be able to enjoy the view.
